Hi, I'm Jessi!

I'm a Chicago-based artist, surface pattern designer, and art educator behind Jessi Ferree Studio. I create whimsical, story-based patterns inspired by life's special moments, designed for fabric, paper goods, home decor, and more.

My creative path started in photography and fine art, where I learned to see the world through composition, color, and detail. That eye for visual storytelling eventually led me to surface pattern design, a way to turn small moments into colorful collections full of personality.

​

"Ferree" is my mother's maiden name, with roots in French nobility and a family history in silk weaving. It feels fitting that textiles are part of my story too.

​

I hold a BFA in Photography and Master's degrees in Art Education and Education Leadership. As I grow this studio, I'm excited to explore licensing, custom collaborations, branding partnerships, and educational opportunities.
